We are now in the election year. We have much work to do for our nation, our state and our county. Those from LD4 currently holding office are controlled by their extreme ideology and special interests – not what serves the good of the people. This is so at the federal and state levels. The fact that forty five million plus people are not insured is not important – it is preferred that President Obama does not succeed. The only answer to a deficit of billions of dollars at the state level is to cut taxes and eliminate needed social and education programs. Those at the lower income levels much be provided with the assistance needed in providing for their families, the elderly are deserving of dignity in retirement and we must see that the next generation is educated at high levels.
Look at our candidates – we have a wealth of talent. In some cases, we have to pick the best of the best in the August primaries. We can be proud of those stepping forward – they deserve our support. Compare our candidates to our opposition. Look at their platforms, education, their empathy and their understanding of our state’s problems – we must work to get Democrats elected.
For the good of our nation, we must elect Democrats to the Congress of the United States – both Senate and House. For the good of our state, we must elect a Democratic Governor and a Democratic State Legislature. It appears that the current Republican administration is trying to make our job easier. We can’t count on this – the only way to win an election is to get the greatest number of votes – that is our job!
Please feel free to contact any one of us with questions and come to our meetings – we have fun while addressing the real needs in our district.
